Ron Paul

I just went through all of his campaign promises as listed on his website… and WOW. This guy is seriously an idiot. I’m not really sure what everyone thinks is so special about him because I can’t see how he is so different from any other run-of-the-mill republican (despite the fact that he used to identify himself as a libertarian… which isn’t even accurate because he’s socially conservative).

Lately I’ve been seeing all of these young people voicing their support for him and it makes me wonder… did they actually read what this guy wants to do with our country and think through the potential consequences, or are they just supporting him because it’s the cool thing to do? Either way, lord help us. 

On a side note: I get this feeling that libertarians pretend to understand economics, but don’t actually have any idea what it’s about.
